Join us for a day of fun and community at the CLMBR ARTS MRKT, featuring local artists, small businesses, and our first-ever Summer BBQ! This is more than just a market—it’s a celebration of climbing, creativity, and good vibes.

– Hogtown Showdown: a friendly Kilter board Comp: Show off your climbing skills in a lighthearted competition—prizes for the winners!

HOGTOWN SHOWDOWN: a friendly Kilter board comp.

Rules:

Start at V1:

Each participant begins on V1 with 5 minutes total for the entire competition. (Time may be adjusted based on the number of participants.)

Advance by Sending:

If you complete a problem (“send”) within your remaining time, you move on to the next grade (V2, V3, and so on). Any unused time from a round carries over. The goal is to complete problems as quickly as possible to conserve time for the harder rounds.

Time Bonuses:

Participants who reach the following milestones will receive extra time added to their total:

• +1 minute at V4
• +1 minute at V6
• +1 minute at V8
• (No additional time will be awarded beyond V8.)

Elimination:

If you run out of time before completing a problem, you are eliminated from the competition.

Winning:

The competition continues until only one participant remains. That climber is declared the winner.

Prizes:

1st Place:

• One-month membership

2nd Place:

• Two-week membership

3rd Place:

• One-week membership

Participation:

• All participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win additional prizes.

Registration:

• Opens May 12, 2025 (online or in person)
• Closes May 22, 2025 at 6:30 PM
• Spots are limited—reserve your place early!

Competition Start:

• The comp begins at 7:00 PM on May 22.
• Please arrive early to check in and warm up.
• The event will run until the final climber is eliminated.

Podium & Raffle:

• Awards and raffle prizes will be announced shortly after the competition ends.
